Ethan Hunt and the rest of "Mission Impossible" will no longer go head-to-head with "Star Wars Episode VII" on Christmas Day. Paramount Pictures has decided to release the movie five months earlier. 

There's been very little news as to what "Mission Impossible 5" will be about. There's been no official press statement of its plot and the stars haven't done promo for it yet. This is possibly because everyone has their eyes on the Dec. 25 release date. 

However, Paramount opted to get away from the force that is "Star Wars Episode VII," reported The Wrap. Could it be that Paramount believes that the box office battle would be too much for "MI5?" 

At any rate, this is great news for the "Mission Impossible" franchise fans as expectations and anxiety for the movie runs at an all-time high. The previous installment, "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol," did so well in the box office that it became Tom Cruise's highest earning movie in his career. Hence, everyone is waiting for what Cruise has in store in the next installment and if the hype holds up. 

Meanwhile, according to Cinema Blend, Cruise was seen shooting in Morocco in August 2014 and he was spotted doing his own stunts with the use of racing cars and an Airbus A400M aircraft. 

As for the other details of the movie, Latin Post reported that Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner will reprise their roles from "Ghost Protocol." Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson and Sean Harris will be joining the movie as well, with Harris being the villain. 

Christopher McQuarrie wrote the film for yet another collaboration with Cruise, just like in "Valykrie" and "Edge of Tomorrow." J.J Abrams' company Bad Robot will be releasing the movie and Robert Elswit is the cinematographer. Further, Dean Pearce is the scriptwriter. That's a whole bunch of big names behind the film.

"Mission Impossible 5" will be released on July 31.
