Cooperative survival game "Fortnite" recently received a new patch alongside a brand new map. The patch went live on Jan. 17, and the developers posted a news update about it.

'World of Warcraft' patch 7.3.5 goes live, includes level scaling
Hit multiplayer roleplaying game "World of Warcraft" recently received a large update. Patch 7.3.5 went live for the first time on Jan. 17, with Blizzard announcing the changes on their official WoW website.

Indie game "Night in the Woods" is making its way to the Nintendo Switch on Feb. 1. The game's publisher Finji made the announcement on their official twitter page on Jan. 16.

"Candleman," a game about a sentient candle on a quest, will be coming to Steam on Jan. 31. Developed by Spotlight Interactive, the release date was announced by the developers themselves on Jan. 8

'BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle' to introduce tag-team fights and new characters
Popular fighting game series "BlazBlue" will be adding another game to their roster this 2018. Titled "BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle," the upcoming game is slated for a June 2018 release. Unlike its predecessors, "BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle" will focus on tag-team fights.

D.I.C.E game award nominees
The D.I.C.E awards have released their list of finalists, and some of the games competing for various awards include: Cuphead, Horizon Zero Dawn, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Fire Emblem Heroes, Pyre, Night in the Woods, and a lot more. It is a long list with 24 different categories, and ever since it was released, gamers everywhere have started coming up with their own predictions.

First-person, horror shooting game "Dusk" has recently entered early access. The game was made available for testing on Steam on Jan. 11 and has gained mostly positive reviews since then.

'Yume Nikki' returns after a decade with a sequel
More than a decade has passed since surrealist roleplaying game "Yume Nikki" made its debut in June of 2004. However, on Jan. 10, Kikiyama â the game's developer â dropped a small surprise for fans of the classic RPG. On Jan 10 "Yume Nikki" made its Steam debut, and on Jan. 11, a teaser trailer for a second "Yume Nikki" game was released and uploaded to YouTube.

'Death Trash' delayed, no new release date given
Cyberpunk roleplaying game "Death Trash" was originally slated for a 2017 release. The game was delayed, however, and ever since then no new release date has been announced. Instead, "Death Trash" will be released whenever the game is finished. Despite this however, updates regarding the strange game have continued to make their way around the internet.
