It seems like John Cena's long-awaited return to WWE is just around the corner, as rumors claim that the 15-time world champion will return to the ring on Memorial Day for the Monday Night Raw on May 30.

Speculations about Cena's possible opponents are already making the rounds online. One of his rumored contenders include the current WWE world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns.

According to Sportskeeda, the match could be Reign's opportunity to prove that he deserves the title more than anyone else. While Cena could use this to show everyone that he is still the best wrestler after being sidelined since January 2016 due to a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, other reports mentioned that Cena will be facing WWE NXT's latest recruit Shinsuke Nakamura at a live match in Hawaii on June 29.

This could be a practice bout for Cena, but the match could be a big deal for the newcomer Nakamura since it could help him earn a good reputation as one of the next big stars in WWE just like the other NXT stars Neville, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn.

The report claimed that Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins are all scheduled to join the matches on June 6.
