The 25th anniversary special of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) "Monday Night Raw" is already shaping up to be a gigantic event that fans will never forget.
In fact, the upcoming event is so huge that it will take place in two different locations — the Barclays Center and Manhattan Center in New York City
The event promises to be loaded with superstars from the past and the present, with many of the biggest names in the industry coming together under one show for an evening that will probably rival WrestleMania in terms of star power.
Several legends have already been confirmed in recent reports to appear on the episode such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Undertaker and his wife Michelle McCool, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Scott Hall, and Ric Flair.
An updated list of confirmed participants revealed more big names joining the event including seven-time women's champion Trish Stratus, D-Generation X, The Bella Twins, Chris Jericho, William Regal, and many more.
Bill Goldberg is not included in the updated list, but being the first inductee in this year's WWE Hall of Fame, he might still be scheduled to appear.
In addition to the legends, current WWE superstars from Raw's rival show "Smackdown Live" are scheduled to appear for the event. Superstars such as WWE Champion AJ Styles, Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, Randy Orton, and many others.
General Manager Daniel Bryan and Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon are also expected to bring their bickering over to Raw.
The inclusion of Smackdown superstars hint that there will be several inter-brand matches that will take place, and the presence of the legends will only make the event much more exciting. One of the big matches scheduled to take place is the Intercontinental Championship match between current champion Roman Reigns and The Miz.
The 25th anniversary special of "Monday Night Raw" will air on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 live on USA Network at 8/7 C.
