With Only a Few Days Left Before Election Day, Franklin Graham Offers This Suggestion to Christian Voters

Election Day is drawing near, and evangelist Franklin Graham hopes that Christian Americans are already prepared for the big event.

"Well, the presidential debates are now over. The countdown to the election is on — November 8 is only days away," he wrote on his Facebook page. "My suggestion to Christians? Pray earnestly. I pray God will open Americans' eyes to the threats that are looming before us."

Graham then listed down all of the things Americans should be concerned about — their unsecured border to the south, China's military buildup in the South China Sea, the redrawing of Europe's borders, and Europe now being flooded with millions of refugees.

The evangelist is deeply concerned about the growing forces of ISIS. For now, they are fully operational in at least 18 countries, and their numbers are growing. At the same time, Graham could not help but be worried about Russia's engagement in Syria, where they now have a massive military presence.

"We need China and Russia as allies — not adversaries," he said. "America is in a far more dangerous and vulnerable position than we were eight years ago."

However, Graham considers America's separation from God as the scariest thing of all. "And the most dangerous and vulnerable place to be is away from God who has blessed this nation more than any other on earth," he said. "The many problems we face cannot be solved by man alone, but we must have Divine help to find peaceful and long-lasting solutions."

Between the two presidential candidates — Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton — Graham does not know who will make a better leader. He is not endorsing any candidate, saying that both of them are flawed.

"Trump's language and behaviour have been troubling to many, and Hillary's character as it relates to truthfulness has been a big problem for her," he said.

Moreover, Graham said the media and political arena have been marred with lies and manipulation. With all of these things happening, Graham is praying that God will open the eyes of the American people to what is the truth and ultimately select the best leader for the nation.
