Thousands of Christians Oppose Plan to Open School Satan Club: 'Once Satan Gets In, Who Will Get Him Out?'

"No to Satan!"

That rallying cry is expected to fill the air in Portland, Oregon when thousands of Christians are expected to gather outside a school on Wednesday, Nov. 16, to show their opposition to a plan by the Satanic Temple to open an "After School Satan Club."

Members of a Satanic Temple earlier announced plans to hold a satanic club open house on that day, CBN News reported.

If the satanists' plan pushes through, the Sacramento Elementary School in Portland, Oregon, will become the first school in America to openly welcome Satan inside its doors, according to Charisma News.

The Satanic Temple announcement prompted thousands of shocked Christian parents from all over America to rally behind Concerned Catholics and America Needs Fatima to sign a protest petition.

"Parents are aghast. And so many good people are standing up in peaceful protest," America Needs Fatima rally coordinator Francis Slobodnik said in a statement.

"More than 87,000 people have signed the petition against Satan Clubs, urging school authorities NOT to allow Satan—the father of lies—into the lives of young children. Every single voice counts against the devil. This needs to be stopped," Slobodnik pointed out.

The concerned parents are expected to join other Christian protesters on the sidewalk outside the school while the satanic club open house is going on.

"Satanism is about lies and darkness. When we say 'God bless America,' we really mean it. We only love God. Satan is not welcome in our culture. Satan should be excluded in our schools because children cannot prosper if they embrace lies, evil and anarchy," Slobodnik said.

He warned school authorities against allowing the establishment of a Satan Club inside an elementary school.

"To dismiss the opening of a Satan Club in an elementary school as something of little importance is to ignore the way Satan works," Slobodnik said. "Once Satan gets in, who will get him out?"
