This Christian offers Donald Trump a 'winning' strategy to clinch the presidency

Christian radio host Dr. Michael Brown has offered Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump a "winning strategy" that will guarantee him the White House.

"In fact, if you put into practice what I'm about to share with you, you could become a fine president as well. It will only take you about 15 minutes a day," Brown writes in an open letter posted on The Christian Post.

So what's his strategy? Brown says it all depends on the right words. "We both know that, for the most part, a political campaign is a battle of words," he says. "Wise words will win a campaign and foolish words will destroy a campaign — I'm not telling you anything you don't know — and so it makes sense to see what God has to say about the words we speak."

Since the Bible is Trump's favourite book, Brown says it won't be too much trouble for him to read the Book of Proverbs. Before each day starts, Brown suggests that Trump read one chapter from Proverbs out loud, together with his closest staff, family or advisers.

"Then note what Proverbs says about wise people and fools, examine your conduct and your words in light of what you read, and then ask God for wisdom," he says.

There are 31 chapters in Proverbs, so Brown says Trump has a month of reading. After each chapter, Brown hopes Trump will ask himself, "Am I acting like a wise man or a fool?"

Brown quotes the Bible's definition of a wise man and a fool in Proverbs 12:16. It says, "Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult."

At the same time, Brown says there are times when silence is considered better than speech. At all times, a cool head must always prevail.

"That's why Proverbs repeatedly warns against being short-tempered, stating, 'Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly' (Prov. 14:29)," says Brown. "Put another way, someone with a hasty temper is holding up a sign for the whole world to see, stating in big bold letters, 'I AM A FOOL.'"

If Trump learns to live by the wisdom of Proverbs, Brown guarantees that he will make a great president. But should Trump choose to scorn it, Brown guarantees Trump will face regret.
