Bob Morley revealed that his character Bellamy Blake will work extra hard to redeem himself when "The 100" returns for season 4.
In an interview with TVInsider, Morley revealed that Bellamy will try his best to get past his bad reputation to fix his relationships within the Polis. He will particularly try to mend his relationship with his sister Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).
"I always think that Bellamy's relationship with [his sister] Octavia is a barometer for how people feel about Bellamy. It's the one thing that really humanizes him, so if those two are not good, then I know I'm going to be having a hard time on Twitter," the actor stated.
The Blake siblings had a falling out in season 3 when Bellamy opted to side with the ruthless chancellor Charles Pike (Michael Beach) when he decided to obliterate the Grounders by executing them, including Octavia's lover Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). But Morley is still hoping that the brother-and-sister relationship will be fixed in season 4.
"We'll see what happens!" the actor said.
Meanwhile, showrunner Jason Rothenberg revealed that season 4 will begin on a lighter note before the threats of nuclear meltdown destroys the world.
"Once this thing lands in their lives as a reality -- that they're all going to die in six months -- we will see some people say, 'You know what, enough fighting, I just want to live life to its fullest,' and those people will sing," Rothenberg told Zap2it.
However, the showrunner opted not to divulge more information about who will possibly spend their remaining time on Earth while belting a song or two. But Christopher Larkin also told the publication that his character Monty and Jasper (Devon Bostick) have the biggest possibility of living their lives to the fullest before the world ends in season 4.
"At the end of the season you see him and Jasper in a moment of hope for the first time in years," Larkin stated. "So it would be really nice for us to have some levity on this show, and I think Jasper and Monty are a really good vessel for that."
The CW has yet to announce the official release date of "The 100" season 4, but the series is expected to return in spring 2017.
