"Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Teresa Giudice believes that it was God's will for her to be part of the reality show.

Speaking to E!, she shared what finally made her agree to become part of Bravo franchise in the first place.

Giudice was recently freed from prison after serving 11 and a half months out of her 15 month prison sentence at a Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury after being convicted for wire fraud and bankruptcy fraud alongside her husband Joe.  She was reunited with her family and friends in time for Christmas.

Last February, she released her memoir, "Turning The Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again," which documents her childhood, her marriage and her life in prison.

She sat down with E! to talk about the early days before she agreed to join the show and told the entertainment network that it took her 11 months before she finally decided to get on board because she initially had apprehensions.

"I really, I know people probably won't believe it, but I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. Some people did warm me about it," she said.

She added that it took her 11 months before she finally said yes, saying that she believed that the offer kept coming back to her despite her hesitations because God was giving it to her.

"It took me eleven months for me to finally say yes. You know what, I guess God brought it to me for a reason, so that's what made me do it. He brought it to me for a reason because it wasn't going away. Eleven months is a long time," she said.

Giudice will return as a cast member for the new season of the show, with Bravo already teasing the focus on Teresa's return to her family and friends. The season may also focus on her shortlived reunion with her family as her husband Joe prepares to begin his own sentence at the end of the month, ET reported.
