Teresa Giudice has been diligently working on her fitness to cope with her time in prison at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. But it looks like the Bravo star must have been working out too much as a report claims that she is now suffering from a exercise-related injury.

"Teresa hurt her shoulder," a source told Radar Online. "She is going for an MRI, X-Rays and all kinds of tests."

The insider continued, "It was hurting her before she went in to prison, but she hurt it even more. Her injury is due to wear and tear from her working out."

Although it was previously reported that Giudice has been getting some extra perks in prison due to her celebrity status, the source said that she has not been receiving any special treatment to ease her pain.

"They will not give her extra padding for her bed to make her more comfortable," the insider said, adding that she is being treated like all the rest of the inmates. "They won't even give her an extra pillow to put under her shoulder to give her relief."

Despite her injury, the mother-of-four is determined to be better than ever once she is released from prison.

Her lawyer, James J. Leonard recently told E! News, "She's taking care of her body, she's taking care of her mind. She's making sure her family's looked after. She's reprioritizing things in her life."

The lawyer said that the Bravo star has turned to her faith and will emerge better than ever after she has served the remainder of her prison sentence.

"I think she's going to emerge stronger, more focused," said Leonard. "She's getting in touch with her faith. She's spending a lot of time praying in there and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people."

Giudice is scheduled to be released on Dec. 23 for home confinement and will complete her sentence in New Jersey until February.
