While the premiere of "Teen Wolf" season 6 may still be a few months away, speculations about who will return to the show continue to swirl.

A Twitter post from Melissa Ponzio, the actress who portrays the role of Scott's (Tyler Posey) supportive mother Melissa McCall, drew the attention of fans.

According to the actress, there will be a lot of unexpected plot twists when the supernatural teen drama returns for season 6. However, she opted not to share more information regarding the surprises for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, multiple reports claimed that the sixth season of "Teen Wolf" will not feature vampire and zombies. According to Parent Herald, series creator Jeff Davis already denied the speculations about vampires and zombies for season 6 since the show is known for highlighting different kinds of mythologies, particularly those that involve shape-shifting. This means that zombies and vampires could be out of the question.

He also mentioned that he would really love to see Colton Hanyes reprise his role as Jackson Whittemore in the series, but they still have to come up with the perfect plan to include the character back in the story since a lot of things changed after he was last seen in season 2.

In a report from Teen Wolf News, rumors about Cody Christian appearing on the set of "Teen Wolf" season 6 emerged after a photo showing his chair was allegedly uploaded by one of the show's sound technicians.

The photo was reportedly deleted. But the fan-made website claimed that Christian reportedly addressed the issue of his character Theo's return in season 6, saying: "I've said this before in the past. You know? If there's a story to be told that involves my character, then I will most definitely be back and that's all that I can say about."

MTV has yet to announce the premiere date of "Teen Wolf" season 6.
