Leah Messer's epic Twitter rant may have caused some backlash from fans, but the "Teen Mom 2" star wants everyone to know that she is still happy with her life despite a recent negative portrayal on MTV's reality show.
In one of her latest posts on Instagram, the 23-year-old mother of three shared a screenshot of a text message from fellow "Teen Mom 2" star Chelsea Houska, who complimented her on how she handled the criticism that she received after the premiere episode of the show's seventh season.
"I'm so so so happy for you and it's so amazing to see how f—ing great you are doing and to just talk to you and hear everything from your side. I'm sorry I wasn't a better friend through everything," Houska wrote in the message.
Messer earned the ire of the viewers after the premiere episode of "Teen Mom 2" season 7 implied that she did not allow her twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah to have breakfast while they were running late to school.
The reality show star defended herself after fans scolded her on Twitter for being an irresponsible mother, saying that MTV put her in the bad light purposely for the ratings. She also went on a long tirade against the network for making her look bad in front of the cameras.
"It goes to show you how 'THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD' really is and I guess everyone will see where I REALLY am starting EPISODE 4. #SUCHASHAME when others that is suffering could ALREADY be reaching out for help," Messer said in one of her posts.
Some fans got angrier because of her rant. They even challenged her to quit the show and used the hashtag "#DontBitetheHandThatFeedsYou."
Messer has yet to respond to the angry "Teen Mom 2" fans, but she seems unaffected by the social media backlash. She even posted a photo of herself and the twins as they enjoyed the Easter egg hunt at Magic Island on Instagram.
