Longtime couple Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin are getting married in four weeks. Their agencies -- YG Entertainment and Plum Entertainment -- both announced on Thursday that the two are tying the knot on Saturday, Feb. 3.
"They will be holding their marriage ceremony at a church with only family, friends, and close acquaintances present," their official statement said. "Afterward, their wedding reception will take place at Paradise City in Incheon with their close acquaintances." They emphasized both the ceremony and reception will be private and asked for everyone's understanding.
The BIGBANG star and the actress reportedly have no honeymoon plans at the moment due to their conflicting schedules. Specifics were not provided, but Taeyang is confirmed to enlist in the military in the first half of 2018, alongside fellow band member G-Dragon. To commemorate the event, BIGBANG held a final concert at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul on New Year's Eve, promising fans of their comeback.
Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin have been publicly dating for three years. They met through Taeyang's "1 AM" music video back in 2014, then confirmed their relationship in June of 2015. The singer announced their engagement on Dec. 18 on his Instagram account, saying they are "looking forward to making a beautiful life together."
Ahead of their big day, the two will reportedly travel Hawaii for a pre-wedding pictorial. It is unclear whether the shoot is personal or for a magazine, but they are said to be leaving this week.
Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin's wedding is tipped as the next major one in Korea following "Descendants of the Sun" couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's. The Hallyu stars tied the knot back in October in what was dubbed to be the wedding of the year. Longtime couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee also wedded earlier in the year, as well as Cha Ye Ryun and Joo Sang Wook.
