The CW has released the latest batch of promotional stills for the upcoming episode of "Supergirl" season 3. The highlight of the promo images is the new look of the Daxamite prince, Mon-El (Chris Wood), which resembles the appearance of the character's counterpart in the original DC comic books. Together with his ex-flame, Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), the two are gearing up for ultimate battle against the Worldkillers.

As reported by TV Line, the promo images for "Supergirl" season 3 episode 15, titled "In Search of Lost Time," reveals the new superhero suit of Mon-El. Interestingly, the design and colors of Mon-El's suit complement Kara's Supergirl costume. Per the official episode 15 synopsis, Mon-El has learned a special fighting technique in the future timeline, which could be effective in bringing down the Worldkillers.
Those who are familiar with the comic book version of the character will recognize the dark red body suit and the blue cape. According to Screen Rant, the only noticeable difference between the television series and the original comic book versions is the accessory that links the body suit to the cape, as the new costume now has a rectangular gold attachment instead of a rounded and oversized button.
While Kara's training with Mon-El increases the chances for her to finally overpower the Worldkillers, the episode 15 promo suggests that things will not go as smoothly as expected. It appears that the two will get into a heated argument, although it is not clear what will be causing this sudden tension.
Meanwhile, Kara will also have to deal with M'yrnn (Carl Lumbly), as the latter unconsiously creates psychic disturbances at the DEO. J'onn (David Harewood) will also have to help Kara in fixing the mess resulted in by the disturbances.
As "Supergirl" season 3 inches closer to its final episode, the fans can expect more revelations about the Worldkillers. So far, the only known Worldkillers lurking on Planet Earth are Reign (Odette Annable) and Purity (Krys Marshall), but Kara is also preparing herself for a third entity known by the name Pestillence. The exact identity of the last Worldkiller is still unknown, but rumor has it that Pestillence will be hiding under the guise of Dr. Grace Parker, to be portrayed by Angela Zhou.
"Supergirl" season 3 episode 15 will air next Monday, April 16 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
