The challenges that the Pearson Specter Litt law firm will have to face in the aftermath of Mike Ross's (Patrick J. Adams) conviction for fraud will be immediately felt when "Suits" returns to the USA Network for its sixth season.

According to the network's press release, "Season 6 picks up immediately following Mike Ross's plea deal, as he begins his two-year sentence for conspiracy to commit fraud. Having spared his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike will face the harsh reality of prison life while Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Jessica (Gina Torres), Louis (Rick Hoffman), Donna (Sarah Rafferty), and Rachel (Meghan Markle) deal with the fact that their once-bustling firm is now a ghost town."

Series creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh explained in an interview with TVGuide that the premiere episode of "Suits" season 6 will center on Mike's first night in prison. This will be an entirely new world for Mike, but he will encounter several inmates who will help him get acquainted with the culture behind bars.

Fans are speculating that Mike's girlfriend, Rachel, will also have several ordeals of her own while he remains in prison. According to reports, there is a big chance that Rachel is carrying her first child with Mike. However, Korsh only gave a vague answer when fans asked him about its possibility in a Twitter Q&A, saying that the pregnancy "would be an easy way to go."

Meanwhile, the network announced that several familiar faces will return in "Suits" season 6, including Neal McDonough's Sean Cahill; Harvey's nemesis from Harvard, Eliot Stemple, played by Patrick Fischler; John Pyper-Ferguson's character Jack Soloff; and Rachel's replacement secretary in Harvey's office, Gretchen, portrayed by Aloma Wright.

"Suits" season 6 premieres on the USA Network on Wednesday, July 13.
