The latest trailer of "Suicide Squad" is finally out, and it is a lot less scary than the first two promo clips.

The newest trailer, which premiered during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, begins with a White House official asking a group of other officials about what they would do if Superman decided to rip off the roof of the Oval Office and abduct the president.

Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) appears to know the answer, which is why she suggests to form a group composed of some of the most notorious criminals with extraordinary powers who can protect the world from an imminent danger.

The trailer features how Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) formed the team composed of Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Slipknot (Adam Beach), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). But it seems like the government will have to go through a lot of trouble before they can get the supervillains to cooperate.

The new clip also shows more interactions within the group, as well as more speaking lines from The Joker (Jared Leto). Toward the end of the trailer, the group is seen hanging out at a deserted bar while Harley Quinn serves as a bartender.

Compared to the past trailers, the new promo clip appears to be lighter. This could be Warner Bros.' answer to the complaints regarding the recently released "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie, which is said to be too dark and serious.

Reports claim that "Suicide Squad" is being reshot to make the film lighter compared to "Batman v Superman." But film director David Ayer refuted the claim on Twitter, saying that the rumor is "silly," and they are only adding more action-packed scenes for the movie.

"Suicide Squad" is set to open on Aug. 5 in the U.S.
