News about the development of an arcade version of "Street Fighter 5" came out during the Toushinsai arcade event this week, but it does not mean that the game will be released in arcades anytime soon.

A report from Event Hubs spotted an announcement during the arcade-only event last Sunday, saying that Capcom is planning an arcade-like version of the fifth installment of the "Street Fighter" fighting video game franchise. But instead of making the game work on an arcade machine, players will use PC stations in arcades to let players experience the game on the PC platform.

However, Capcom has yet to reveal more information about the rumored development and address the speculations regarding the possible release of an arcade edition of the popular fighting game.

Meanwhile, Yibada revealed that the game developer is planning to release a new batch of characters for "Street Fighter 5" through a new DLC that will be released next year.

According to the report, a Reddit user named ImageofNetwork reportedly spotted a leaked artwork for the next "Street Fighter 5" DLC, showing that Oro, Rose, Sodom, Sagat, Abel, and Q will finally join the roster of the game.

Capcom has yet to confirm the validity of the said report, but a separate report from Event Hubs already conducted an online survey to ask fans to name which character they want to see next on the game. Some of the names that appeared in the survey include Hakan, E. Honda, Blanka, Dee Jay, C. Viper, El Fuerte, Dudley, and Akuma.

At the moment, some of the playable characters of "Street Fighter 5" include Balrog, Alex, Cammy, Chun-Li, Guile, Birdie, Ken, M. Bison, Dhalsim, Necalli, Vega, Ryu, R, Mika, and Nash, among others.

Players can only enjoy "Street Fighter 5" on PC and PlayStation 4, but a Linux edition is expected to be released by Capcom soon.
