'Street Fighter 5' DLC plans: 6 new characters - Balrog, Ibuki, Urien, Juri, Guile, and Alex

Six new fighters will join the roster of the newly released "Street Fighter 5," but they will only be added in the game in the latter part of 2016.

The latest installment of the best-selling fighting video game, which can be purchased in its PlayStation 4 and PC editions, was dropped in the market by Capcom on Tuesday. It consists of 16 playable characters such as Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, M. Bison, Cammy, Birdie, Ken, Necalli, Vega, Zangief, R. Mika, and Karin, among others.

But the game developer promised that they will also release six new DLC characters in the coming months, including Balrog, Ibuki, Urien, Juri, Guile, and Alex. According to earlier reports, players can purchase the DLC characters for an estimate price of $6 each or buy them using the in-game currency called Zenny. If the latter mode of payment will be used, it means that each character is worth 600 Zenny.

Attack of the Fanboy shared another way to get the six DLC characters for "Street Fighter 5," which is to unlock them by using Fight Money. In this option, players need to earn 100,000 Fight Money to get one character.

The report mentioned that "Street Fighter 5" players can also unlock the Story Mode costumes for only 40,000 Fight Money, which players can earn by unlocking several achievements in the game.

Meanwhile, IGN reported that the cinematic campaign for the latest installment of "Street Fighter 5" is coming out later this year.

Details about the upcoming content was revealed by Street Fighter producers Yoshinori Ono and Tomoaki Ayano via a video posted on the PlayStation Asia YouTube channel. According to Ono, the cinematic story mode "might take you one to two hours or even longer to play through... we can [sic] have sold this separately."

Details about the upcoming DLC for "Street Fighter 5" are expected to be revealed soon.
