It seems the game director for the upcoming "Spiderman" game for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) is showing much enthusiasm for the web-spinner, as he has now claimed to have played the game thrice.

This signifies that the end of the development cycle for the game is now approaching and may soon be ready for release. Insomniac Games, the developer of the "Spiderman" game has recently announced that they are now at the testing stage for the game, which is pretty much a closed beta for the developers.

Brian Horton, the game studio's director, has apparently enjoyed the game three times as much as his co-developers, and he even took to Twitter, to rave on about it. In the post, he stated that he has just finished his third playthrough of the open-world "Spiderman" game and even used the hashtags #LoveMyJob. Each playthrough has also taken him as much as several days, and he seemingly lacked sleep due to this, though this did not get in the way of him having fun with the near-finished game.

This also means that the game's story may actually take longer than most action video games as it took Horton several days for each playthrough. According to website Comicbook, this is quite a good sign since longer play times could indicate lots of content and maybe even lots of secrets which require multiple playthroughs like what Horton did. 

Other developers have also chimed in on the discussion and show positive signs of development for the game. Rest assured, the game is heading in the right direction and may fulfill or even exceed expectations from fans.

Despite this good news, the developers have not yet announced an official release date for the PS4-exclusive game, but it is expected to arrive sometime in 2018. This could mean that there may be more features being added to the game, though it could also mean that there are still a lot of bugs or problems that need polishing before the game reaches a full status.
