This year's Sony PlayStation Experience (PSX) has just ended. The event was filled with various gaming news and exciting trailers for upcoming games.

Sony kicked-off the event on Friday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. Pacific Time (11 p.m. Eastern Time) at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. PlayStation fanboys were given tons of updates for the upcoming games of 2018.

First off, Sony revealed a new virtual reality (VR) game for their PlayStation VR (PSVR). The game, titled "Firewall Zero Hour" is a tactical VR shooting game similar to Ubisoft's "Rainbow Six Siege."

Unlike other VR shooters which utilize "point-to-point teleportation" to move around the game, "Firewall Zero Hour" uses traditional movements for a more tactical feel. During PSX, Sony revealed that players will be able to look around corners, and as well as plant explosives. The game will be available sometime in 2018.

Next up is the Sony PlayStation 1 original game "MediEvil." During the PSX keynote, Sony revealed that the game will be re-mastered on the PS4 and will even be available in 4K resolution.

Meanwhile, Sony also revealed some updates on their previously announced games — such as the most-awaited game by Hideo Kojima, "Death Stranding." During the PSX, PS4 lead architect Mark Cerny revealed that the game is already playable.

Cerny also added that he himself has already played the game. After four to five hours, the game will eventually make sense. This comment from Cerny came after the big, new trailer reveal of "Death Stranding" during the most recent "Game Awards."

Additionally, "The Last Guardian" will be coming to PSVR. Players will be able to interact with Trico, the griffin-like beast in the game, for 15 to 20 minutes. Players can experience it for free on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
