Fans of TLC's reality television series "Sister Wives" are looking forward to season 8. The show will resume with a wedding, a pregnancy, and a sad news.
TLC released a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes of season 8. The video starts with Mykelti walking down the aisle with her father Kody Brown. Longtime fans of the show will get to witness Mykelti's wedding with his boyfriend Tony. Madison Brown and Caleb Brush will also welcome their new bundle of joy in season 8. The two-minute trailer also reveals Madison going into labor at home.
The Brown family will also deal with another problem concerning Christine and Kody's daughter Ysabel. It was revealed in the video that the 14-year-old is diagnosed with scoliosis. "At middle school they test girls to see if they have scoliosis. It's a curvature of the spine, so they sent home a note, 'take her to the doctor'" Christine says and quickly bursts into tears. An emotional Kody utters, "It's hard to see your daughter...."
Meri is also struggling with personal feelings of being alone and is planning to establish a bed and breakfast on her own. "I know I can be strong and do things on my own, I've done that a lot and I don't want to only do that. I don't know what's gonna happen and I feel like I'm just kind of walking in the dark," she says. The rest of the wives then convince her to stay and work things out with the family.
TLC also released a short "Sister Wives" Christmas special on YouTube, titled "Kody Brown's CHRISTMAS CRISIS." The episode shows all Brown siblings exchanging gifts and celebrating the holiday season.
First episode of season 8 will air on Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
