Hit American sitcom series "Seinfeld" may no longer be famous in this generation, but its die-hard fans are still waiting for the game version of it. While the game is definitely progressing, with great visuals to boot, fans will be excited to know that a demo version might soon be released.
The game's developer, Jacob Janerka, has been bugged by many fans recently to at least give out updates for the game. Janerka responded via his Twitter account, showing footage of a compilation in a gif format of the characters and some scenes. As for the demo version, he says that he is still thinking about it.
"Been getting a lot of questions about the Seinfeld Project recently," reads the tweet. " I'm waiting till I have a good idea for a premise for a short demo." Although this might not serve as an official announcement for an upcoming demo, it is safe enough to say that Janerka will most likely be releasing one soon enough.
Focusing on the visuals of the game itself, it may not be the best graphics in comparison the most of the games these past years. However, the pixel-style with which Janerka uses undeniably gives off that 90's vibe. For those who have not heard of the show, it became popular back in the 90's. The show ran for nine seasons from 1989 to 1998.
Janerka himself is no stranger to making games like these. The scenes are just like those on the show. The gif even shows some simple actions as when Jerry talks to George. The other characters, Kramer, Elaine, and Newman were all shown as well and even displayed as 3D models. Even the editing elicits nostalgia as the short gif uses transitions first seen in the sitcom.
Unfortunately, there is no estimated release date for the game. Nevertheless, it should come soon enough based on Janerka's tweet.
