DC fans should unite as soccer-car-themed game "Rocket League" has now released its latest patch update 1.42, which brings in two new versions of the Batmobile and a whole bunch of other superhero-themed cosmetics to DC-fy your vehicles.
The DC superheroes DLC will enable users to use two additional versions of the Batmobile -- the Tumbler from Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" series and another from the 1989 "Batman" directed by Tim Burton.
Besides these two vehicle additions, the DLC pack also comes integrated with various DC superhero skins and stickers, including the whole gang of the "Justice League" -- Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Superman, and Green Lantern.
Aside from this, game developer Psyonix also released a small patch to fix various bugs in-game. This particular patch will switch out Snowy map variants for Stormy sites. It will also enable a new feature that allows spectators to chat while watching matches.
The new DLC pack is currently valued at $3.99 and is available on all supported platforms for the game, which includes the PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Microsoft's Xbox One.
Elsewhere, Psyonix is planning to create more tie-ins with various brands, more recently with WWE. As of present time, the company has yet to reveal what specific additions will be created through this partnership. But they say that fans will know soon enough as further announcements are released.
Since its launch in 2015, "Rocket League" has amassed millions of loyal players due largely to its unique gameplay nature, which makes use of cars as players in a soccer game. It is currently available on the following platforms -- PS4, Xbox One, PC, and more recently on the Nintendo Switch.
Starting today, players can now avail of the new DLC pack. And if you want to see the full patch notes, just click here.
