"Quantico" season 2 wrapped up with quite a twist this May, and already fans cannot wait for season 3 to roll out sometime in 2018. The whole team behind ABC's popular TV series is quite mum about latest leaks and spoilers, but thankfully, new showrunner Michael Seitzman happily obliged the show's fans with some sneak peeks.
In his official Twitter account, Seitzman posted a script photo, letting fans know the title of the first episode of the upcoming season, which is "The Conscience Code." It was written by Seitzman himself, and even though he did not disclose the meaning behind the title, it is enough to give fans a little peek at what to look forward to next season.
Some speculations pertain that the title of season 3's first episode is highly connected with the death of President Roarke (Dennis Boutsikaris). Maybe somebody close to Alex will "grow a conscience" and spill the secrets concerning the president's death?
It was earlier revealed by Seitzman as well that the upcoming season of "Quantico" will be re-designed. This is so new viewers will not have a hard time catching up on the events of the series. Priyanka Chopra will again star in the drama series, alongside Russell Tovey, Johanna Braddy, and Jake McLaughlin. "Quantico" season 3 will also see the addition of Marlee Matlin, who will play the role of deaf ex-FBI agent Jocelyn Turner.
Fans should also expect to see some part of season 3 shot overseas. It was exclusively learned by TV Line that some episodes will be filmed in Italy, featuring Chopra and a "really scary, brutal bad guy" who will be vital in the season's storyline. A source close to the show also told the entertainment website that aside from Chopra, the identities of other cast members joining her abroad are still kept secret.
Although no official release date has been set yet, "Quantico" season 3 is slated for a premiere in 2018.
