Developers of the online battle royal game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," or "PUBG" for short, have released a new update directed toward Xbox One console users of the title, which brings in a lot of improvements and enhancements that are sure to surprise avid fans.

The new update, which dropped late last week, will introduce new enhancements to users' experience by providing bug fixes to previously reported problems, incorporating a new Game DVR support, and most importantly the removal of a player starting area.

This new patch will remedy "PUBG's" existing fault, which involves the game's performance drop when 100 players are in the same starting point, by giving players new pre-match starting sites. In line with this, developers have also removed weapons in the starting locations.

Gameplay-wise, damage taken from trees, rocks, and other inanimate objects has been reduced. Alongside this, players will now be able to use the right joystick to affect their character's rotation capabilities. Creators have also made team colors more vivid, in line with player requests.

When it comes to bug fixes, the new update mended several sound effects and the red-zone bombing site bug, which makes the Red-Zone disappear after initializing.

Players will also be able to record clips, while playing the game through the Game DVR feature. Although now functional, the feature is still too early to properly integrate in the Xbox One console.

These new major updates for the "PUBG" aim to make gameplay and user interface consistent in both the PC version and the Xbox One game.

Lastly, the new update will see improvements in the graphic aspect specifically the optimization of textures throughout the entire game and bug fixes to crashes and frozen states in-game.
