Prayer relieves woman's horrendous headache after road accident

Here's another reason to leave all your physical pain and suffering to the Lord, because He indeed heals.

Early last year, Dora was just walking outside her workplace in Portland, Oregon when she got hit by a car. She was immediately brought to the emergency room of a nearby hospital where she was found to have suffered from a head concussion.

Dora was soon released from the hospital. However, a few days later, she experienced excruciatingly painful headaches.

"I thought my head was going to explode," Dora told The Christian Broadcasting Network. "I couldn't function because the headache was so, so intense. I was out of work for nine months and my doctor, I will call him and tell him I can't sleep, I can't function, I can't stand these headaches. He'd send me prescriptions."

The medications, however, did not do enough to ease her pain. She then turned to prayer, hoping for relief.

"And I cry out to the Lord many days, many times. Many nights. And it seems like the Lord was so far away that He didn't answer," Dora shared.

To have someone to talk to regarding the pain she is experiencing, she also called up the "700 Club" Prayer Partners. After a few months of sharing her faith through this outlet, she experienced a miracle.

"When I called in, I was telling this person that I'd been calling so many times but I still have this horrendous headache," Dora said. "And she says, 'Well today we're going to tell that headache, that spirit of headache to go away from you.' And she was praying with such an authority. I thanked the Lord, then went to bed."

"That next day I got up to pray and there was no headache. As the day was going by, I was looking for the headache. I'm like, 'Wow, it's amazing. I have to call them, I have to tell them, I have to tell somebody.'"

Now, Dora's life is back to normal. "I can have a life, I can go back to my job after nine months. It means that God loves me that much that He really cares for me," she shared.
