There is roughly a week left before the month of April wraps up, which means that PlayStation Plus service subscribers have something to look forward to very soon. Sony has yet to announce the new list of free games hitting the PS Plus catalog this May, although there are already some speculations about the big titles. One of the possible highlights of the May 2018 lineup is "The Last of Us 2: Remastered."

Some fans were quite disappointed with the PlayStation Plus April 2018 lineup, as it was not as exciting as the March lineup with two AAA highlights, namely "Bloodborne" and "Ratchet and Clank." So far, the PS Plus subscribers have only enjoyed "TrackMania Turbo" and "Mad Max," which are playable in PlayStation 4 console. With this, many people are demanding to see a similar lineup as March for the month of May, according to Express UK.

The first in the list of the most requested AAA title for PlayStation Plus May 2018 free games is "The Last of Us: Remastered." The game has already been rumored to be a part of the previous PS Plus monthly lineup, but there was never an opportunity to include it.

However, Sony could finally feature the title as a PS Plus freebie, attracting more people to subscribe to the service. Putting "The Last of Us: Remastered" is also a good way to promote the upcoming sequel from Naughty Dog, "The Last of Us Part 2."

Another possible highlight in the PlayStation Plus May 2018 free games lineup is "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection." Some reports also suggest that "God of War 3: Remastered" will make it to the cut next month, considering that the new "God of War" installment was recently released.

Aside from the popular PS4 titles, the PlayStation Plus May 2018 free games list will also include classic games for the older PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles. More information is expected to be revealed this week, as Sony usually announces the new lineup of free games during the last Wednesday of the month.
