More Than 400 Unborn Babies Saved By Christians in Prayer Drive Outside Abortion Clinics

Pro-life volunteers offer prayers to mothers planning to abort their babies at Planned Parenthood clinics. (40 Days for Life)

Prayers do save lives.

This is being proven in America as 410 unborn babies have been saved so far following the recent launching of this year's 40 Days for Life campaign by Christian pro-life activists, Life News reported.

Adding that figure to the unborn babies who were saved when the campaign was first launched nine years ago, the number of saved lives now totals 12,206, according to the news outlet.

The pro-life volunteers are achieving this result mainly through the power of prayers. They do this by standing outside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic and asking the women who go there to seek abortion this simple question: "Can I pray with you?"

One woman answered "yes." The volunteers then prayed and then talked to her. She said she had come to seek abortion, but when she went inside the clinic, she saw "so many sad people" and this made her change her mind.

One volunteer carried a sign saying, "Pregnant? Need help? Ask me!" A woman approached her and asked, "Where can I get help?"

The volunteer then directed her to a pregnancy centre that offers assistance without killing the baby inside her.

The pro-life volunteers are not confining themselves to offering prayers outside abortion clinics. They are also organising huge rallies all over the country.

They recently held a rally in Sacramento, California, the state with the highest number of abortions in America. The rally drew more than 300 people—including the abortion centre staffers "who stood outside their workplace on a Sunday night to listen (and jeer)," according to Life News.

The participants heard inspiring messages from pro-life leaders and enlightening post-abortion stories.

When a speaker announced that more than 181,000 abortions are being performed in California every year, the abortion workers cheered. However, they fell silent when the speaker announced that one of their co-workers had a change of heart after attending their rally and quit her job last Friday.

Organisers said the 40 Days for Life campaign will continue over the next few weeks to save many more lives and help many more mothers.
