"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 8 titled "This Is What We Do" marks the 200th episode of the long-running CBS television series. With that, fans can expect to see a lot of surprises and the return of a classic character.
Fans will see the return of the classic "JAG" star John M. Jackson reprising his role as A.J. Chegwidden in the police procedural drama. "JAG" was a legal drama with a distinct U.S. Navy theme that aired from 1995 to 2005. It is where the original "NCIS" is based on.
Pamela Reed will also be seen more as Roberta Deeks, Marty Deeks' (Eric Christian Olsen) mother.
According to the official synopsis of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 8, the NCIS team has to find a group of unknown attackers that illegally crossed the border. The assailants are responsible for the attack on California Highway Patrol officers.
Homeland Security will also send Nell Jones' (Renée Felice Smith) sister, Specialist Sydney Jones (Ashley Spiller). She will assist the NCIS team in the new case the group is handling in "This Is What We Do."
Meanwhile, in the recent episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9, Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) managed to stop a nuclear holocaust. However, this made Deeks feel left behind. The job first came for Kensi, thus Deeks had to walk away as only one of them had to stay.
In episode 7 titled "The Silo," Kensi was truly torn when she was calling Deeks before she went on her mission. On the other hand, Deeks felt hurt that she could not agree with what he wanted to happen. Although Deeks is known as a goofy person, he deeply cares about Kensi. But, it seems like they are now growing apart.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 8 titled "This Is What We Do" will air on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 9:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
