The NBA 2014 Playoffs Finals will see Miami Heat take on the San Antonio Spurs to retain its third consecutive Championship title.
In many people's eyes these two teams would have been among the favorites to reach the NBA 2014 Final, but there were serious doubts raised throughout the season as both teams suffered lapses in form.
However, when things came to the crunch, both teams have stepped up and done enough to win through each round of the postseason, and have made it to the Championship series.
Game 1 of the NBA FInals will take place Thursday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET. Heat will go on the road to San Antonio looking to immediately steal back home court advantage.
Game 2 will take place June 8, and will also be held at the Spurs' home stadium, and they will be hoping to claim a 2-0 lead before Game 3 when things will move to Miami for two games.
This season, Miami Heat have been extremely strong at home and is predicted to be difficult to defeat there, meaning the opening two games are of vital importance for the Spurs if they are to snatch the title away from LeBron James and co. this season.
Should the game proceed to Game 5, it will take place in San Antonio on June 15, with the Heat hosting Game 6 on June 17.
If the series goes all the way to a decisive Game 7, it will take place in San Antonio on June 20.
The NBA finals will be available to watch on ABC and will also be available to view online on ABC.com.
