The Bible Society-sponsored National Prayer Breakfast was attended by over 600 people, including MPs Fiona Bruce, Gary Streeter and Tim Farron

Guest speaker at the breakfast was Oxford University Professor John Lennox, who said atheism was a "delusion" and called upon Christians to have the the "courage to create public space" for the discussion of "a biblical worldview" in society.

The National Prayer Breakfast took place in the magnificent Westminster Hall at the Houses of Parliament
