"Mr. Robot" season 3 is about to reach its final bow, and all burning questions in the previous episode's finale will be finally answered. In the upcoming episode 10, titled "eps3.9_shutdown-r," it looks like everyone will be in danger.

In the upcoming episode's official synopsis, Elliot (Rami Malek) will do everything to save his sister, Darlene (Carly Chaikin). However, things will not work out as planned, thus Mr. Robot will either step up or step back, and it looks like Angela (Portia Doubleday) will consider the price.

Now that "Mr. Robot" season 3 episode 10 will be the show's swan song, the Dark Army is eyeing to silence Elliot by killing him and his sister. Although Elliot now owns the most notorious "hacker-for-hire," he still has no control over it.

However, Mr. Robot will plan to work along with Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström). In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the show's writer-producer Kor Adana teased what is about to come in "eps3.9_shutdown-r."

"In more ways than one, we're going back to the place where it all started," he hinted about "Mr. Robot" season 3 episode 10. He explained that by analyzing the entire season, it will reveal that there is a clear structure made up of multiple episodes.

In fact, Adana likened "Mr. Robot" season 3 as a 10-hour full movie. The previous episode, titled "eps3.8_stage3.torrent," laid out all the possible happenings in the USA Network television series' final episode.

This is actually the reason why episode 9 is full of loose ends and cliffhangers, as these will all be explored in "eps3.9_shutdown-r." "The ending of the episode was not scripted as an intercut," Adana continued to say.

With Whiterose (BD Wong) and Grant's (Grant Chang) scene where Elliot was seen hacking the Dark Army, the show's editor Rosanne Tan ended it by intercutting these sequences together to build more tension. "There's more of a cliffhanger feel to the ending now," Adana teased.

"Mr. Robot" season 3 episode 10, titled "eps3.9_shutdown-r," airs on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 10 p.m. EST on USA Network.
