"Monster Hunter World" is getting ready for one last beta before the impending release this month, as the developers of the game have announced the final beta for PlayStation 4 (PS4) along with the new content.

Developer and publisher Capcom have revealed to the PS4 community that the final beta test for the upcoming game will be taking place on Jan. 18 and will run for two days. This takes place less than a week before the full release of the game on Jan. 26 for the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Also, unlike the second beta which took place in December last year, this one will apparently introduce new content which is also expected to be included in the full release. As such, this final beta will come as a surprise for the PS4 players, or maybe a spoiler for some.

The final beta will be featuring new content in the form of "Monster Hunter World's" flagship boss and monster, Nergigante. This is in addition to the same content allowed for the players during the second beta. Nergigante is an Elder Dragon and the monster featured in the game's box art, meaning players already have an idea of his scale and appearance in-game.

Nergigante's addition as one of the main monsters of the game also signals the return of the Elder Dragons, which are some of the prime targets to be hunted in the "Monster Hunter" franchise. The full game is also set to include some of the old Elder Dragons of the franchise, with some new ones to boot.

These new Elder Dragons were also unveiled in a special Elder Dragons trailer that the developers of the game released recently. The video also showcases how difficult and challenging the fight against the Elder Dragons can be since apart from their massive size, most can also fly. The plot of the game also seems to revolve around the said Elder Dragons, meaning players should have their hands full once the game gets released.
