Florida mom Lyette Reback faces the daunting task of raising her 10 daughters and six sons, but despite her challenging situation, she insists that her children are a blessing from God and that caring them is the "best job in the world."

Reback, a communications graduate from a top all-girls school, had given birth to 12 biological children and had adopted four more. She manages to homeschool all her 16 children - ranging in age from 2 to 21 - and makes sure that they do their chores.

The mother of 16 noted that she gets some interesting reactions from other people when they hear about how many children she has.

"If the number of children we have comes up in conversation or people see us out and they don't know our family, they are like, 'holy mackerel,'" she said, according to Daily Mail.

"At first when there were four or five little girls it was, "Oh my gosh, you are crazy, how are you doing that? People would joke or say things like, 'Don't you have a TV in your bedroom?," she added.

Reback, who married her husband David when she was just 19 years old, believes that her children are a blessing and that caring for them presents an "incredible opportunity to do something amazing in the world."

"I fully understand we have chosen to do life differently than most, but it works for us. We wouldn't have it any other way. I wake up each morning and think, I can't believe I get to do this". Raising children is the best job in the world," she said, as reported by the Daily Mail.

As part of her daily routine, Reback says a prayer at 5:30 a.m. before she starts homeschooling her kids. In addition to homeschooling, she also has to ferry her kids to a whopping 88 sports practices each week.

She also makes sure that the children are performing their chores, which gives her a chance to squeeze in a work out and have dinner with her friends.

Trinity, 13, is responsible for preparing three meals a day for the family, with 11-year-old Liberty serves as her sous chef.

The task of doing the laundry - including washing, drying, folding and sorting clothes - falls to 12-year-old Courson. Other household chores are divided among the other children, who do them between homeschooling sessions.

Reback, who has written a book about parenting and runs a blog called "The Rebacks," admitted that raising 16 children is challenging. "There is no normal day in the Reback household," she said.

Apart from raising the children, Reback manages a charity called Believe With Me, which provides support to military families who lost a loved one in service. With the help of volunteers and her children, Reback's charity was able to hand out gifts to 600 children of fallen soldiers last Christmas.
