Michelle Williams thrilled worshippers at a church in Queens, New York, on Monday.

The Destiny's Child member is riding high on a wave of positivity following the recent release of her new album Journey to Freedom.

It is the fourth solo studio album by Williams and includes hit gospel single Say Yes, which features vocals from Destiny's Child bandmates Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland.

The song is a powerful message about the sovereignty of Jesus and includes the chorus: "When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no."

Williams was at Queens church the Greater Allen Cathedral of New York on Monday to share some of her music.

But the praise was mutual as Williams shared numerous tweets from the visit in which she only had good things to say about their music ministry and their pastoral team.

"Today has just been fabulous! Started at @allencathedral this morning. Their music ministry is phenomenal. @stanleyabrown THANK YOU."

She used one tweet to "honor" the pastor of Allen Cathedral Dr Floyd Flake and his wife and co-pastor Elaine Flake, thanking them for having her at their church.

"Honor to where it's due!" she shared.

In another tweet she said: "I look up and see @Cory_Henry on the organ. It was dope with you playing SAYYES. Every musician and singer was INCREDIBLE! #bye"

Instagram user DaRealChrissyB shared a snap of Williams at the church.
