Reality show star Mama June Shannon just revealed her new, 300 pound-less body in her new show "Mama June: From Not to Hot." However, other people are already expressing their concern regarding the celebrity's ability to maintain her new figure.
In an interview with E! News during the Vital Signs of Bowel Health Summit that was held in New York City, TV show host Wendy Williams said that she was not sure if Shannon can continue to keep her weight off.
"I am 50-50 with Mama June and I told her that behind the scenes. I said Mama June, please work really hard to keep the weight off," Williams stated, adding, "But she's also got Honey Boo Boo who is a child growing up. She wants normal food."
The TV host also mentioned that Shannon told her that her motivation to lose weight is her youngest daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, but Williams believed that on top of Shannon's concern for her daughter's well-being, the reality show star was only in it for the huge paycheck that the network will pay her as well as the free surgery for her weight transformation.
However, in a previous interview with People, Shannon confidently claimed that she will never gain back all the weight that she has already lost. "I can promise you I'm never going back to that size," Shannon stated, stressing, "I'm happy where I'm at."
Meanwhile, a sneak peek at the reunion episode of "Mama June: From Not to Hot" reveals that Shannon's ex-husband and Honey Boo Boo's father Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson had a heated argument with Shannon's 17-year-old daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon.
In an exclusive clip that was posted by Entertainment Tonight, Shannon and Thompson had a heated shouting match that quickly escalated when Pumpkin intervened.
Thompson and Pumpkin can be heard saying expletives toward each other, then the two almost engaged in a physical brawl if the show's staff did not stop them.
The reunion special called "Mama June: The Confrontation" will air on WE tv on Friday at 9 p.m. EDT.
