After the confirmed revival of a couple of beloved '90s sitcoms such as "Will and Grace" and "Roseanne," looks like another show is also set to make a comeback this 2018.

"Mad About You," one of NBC's highest-rated TV series, is reportedly in the works of returning to the TV screen. According to TVLine, Sony is rumored to be already in talks with lead stars Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt to bring back the show for a couple of seasons. When asked if all of it is true, Sony declined to comment.

Apparently, Reiser and Hunt are more than okay to resurrect the show. Reiser is also said to be on the front lines, as he, along with Danny Jacobson, created the show in the first place.

If the revival would be confirmed, the episodes would primarily focus on Jamie (Helen Hunt) and Paul (Paul Reiser) struggling with empty-nest syndrome as their daughter, Mabel, goes off to college.

Nothing is final as of yet, as the show's revival is still in very early talks. Still, Reiser has foreshadowed the show's resurrection a couple of months ago, as he said in an interview with People that he's willing to have a go on "Mad About You" once again.

"For years, I would've said, 'Absolutely not. We never would do it,' because I was very proud of how we ended it really well," he said.

But now that several '90s sitcoms are making a comeback such as "Roseanne" and "Will and Grace," Reiser said that everyone's talking about a "Mad About You" reboot as well. "Maybe if there's a story we could come up with," Reiser added.

"Mad About You" aired from 1992-1999 and won several awards during its stint on television such as a Golden Globe, a prestigious Peabody Award, as well as multiple best comedy series Emmy nominations. By the show's last season, both Reiser and Hunt were earning $1 million per episode.

As of the moment, it isn't clear whether NBC will still host the show's reboot.
