Speculations about the major cast revamp for "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" season 6 have been debunked by Mimi Faust.
Speaking with AJC correspondent Rodney Ho, Faust revealed that the rumors that all of the present cast of VH1's controversial reality show are nothing but "a big lie."
"This stuff just makes me giggle," Faust stated in the interview. "People have been calling me all day about it."
According to the reality show star, kicking the entire cast of the network's most popular show makes no sense for VH1. However, the network has yet to respond to the rumors.
Meanwhile, season 5 guest star and rapper Sas was shot in the head on July 2. According to reports, the rapper was last seen filming with music producer Stevie J for one of the episodes for the show's current season before the incident took place.
Media Take-Out revealed that the doctors believe that Sas will fully recover from the gunshot wound since the bullet was not able to get through his skull. But if the bullet penetrated 3 millimeters lower, he could possibly have become paralyzed.
Sas updated his fans regarding his condition via his Instagram account by posting a photo of himself on his hospital bed. He also posted a short video to point out his bloody wound and reassured his fans that he would be alright.
This is not the first time that a cast member from "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" has been shot while the camera is rolling. In season 3, former cast member Benzino was also shot by his own nephew while he was driving on his way to his mother's funeral in 2014.
Sas's mother, Karen "KK" King, who is also a part of the series, has yet to break her silence about her son's shooting incident.
"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" is currently airing the remaining episodes for season 5, while the sixth season is yet to be announced by the network.
