The A7000 Turbo sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 Pixels and 2 million pixels, bringing beautiful displays on it's OGS IPS experience. The pixel density of the handset's screen clocks in at 401 pixels per inch.
The A7000 Turbo is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 64-bit Octa-core Cortex-A53 Processor, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone carries 16 GB of internal memory, but is expandable to an additional 32 GB through the use of a microSD card. On the software side of the device, the A7000 Turbo is expected to launch out of the box running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware with Vibe UI 2.0.
The front-side camera of the handset has 5 megapixels plus Omnivision OV5670 with 3 lens element and a F2.2 Max Aperture. The back-side camera carries 13 megapixels with Omnivision and F/2.2 in aperture as well. The phone also allows dual sim capacity, and gives access to LTE bands in India.
The handset also packs a 2,900 man battery that can allow up to 39 hours of talk time on 2G and 16 hours on 3G. If on standby, the battery lasts a total of 11 days. Users will remember that Lenovo launched an upgraded version of the Lenovo A7000 in the Philippines last September, and called it the Lenovo A7000 plus. The Lenovo A7000 Turbo is much different from that one, and has some specs where it trumps the A7000 plus.
Also launched last week was the Lenovo Vibe K4, which sells for a little more. The handset can be purchased at Rs. 11,999.
