There is a touching addition to the new handbag line from luxury brand Dooney & Burke and the women of "Duck Dynasty."
Korie Robertson revealed on Instagram that the duck-emblazoned bags will feature the word "family" written into the lining.
"So excited about the Robertson Women's new line with @dooneyandbourke," she wrote on Wednesday. "Adorable duck camouflage on the outside and the word 'family' written in the lining. Put this on your wish list."
An attached photo shows Robertson holding one of the large purses, which features ducks in various colours on coated cotton. The handbag has leather trim, functional straps, and a luggage tag with the letter "R" on it.
The Robertson Women's line was created by "Duck Dynasty" wives Korie, Missy, and Jessica Robertson, and is just one of their many forays into the fashion industry.
Korie and Rebecca Robertson – the wife and adopted daughter of Willie – own Duck & Dressing, a clothing and accessories boutique in Monroe, Louisiana. Daughter Sadie has a prom dress line, "Live Original," through designer Sherri Hill, and Willie's brother Jep launched a clothing line, "Calvary," this summer.
Jep said that his wife, Jessica, also contributes design ideas.
"She's really the one who got me into fashion, and she loves the line," he told The News Star. "If she likes it, I like it. Know what I mean?"
In addition to the online store, Calvary items are available in the family's Duck Commander store, and in Duck & Dressing.
While the family has amassed millions through Duck Commander, the "Duck Dynasty" reality show, books, speaking engagements, and other endeavours, they give all thanks to God for their blessings.
"My family would not be where we are without our faith," Sadie said. "That's what has carried us this whole way. You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share it with everybody."
