A real-life "Game of Thrones" wedding is coming. Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are officially engaged, finally giving Jon Snow and Ygritte the happy ending they deserve before the latter got killed. Of course, they are inviting their friends from the cast. But because there are so many of them, production for season 8 will have to be shut down for one day.

Harington revealed the fact that filming will be suspended during an appearance on a British talk show, "The Jonathan Ross Show." He recalled contacting the showrunners of "Game of Thrones" explaining that he is due to tie the knot with Leslie whom he met on the show a couple of years before.

"I rang [the producer] up and I said, 'I'm getting married and it's your fault actually,'" he shared. "I was like, 'You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding, by the way.' [The cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down."

It turns out the producers were okay with his request. He did not reveal who he specifically talked to, but the person in question was apparently so stressed about the final season that the actor said, "[The producer's] reached the peaceful level."

Details about their wedding are currently under wraps, although Harrington did reveal that it is not going to be GoT-themed.

He also shared how he messed up his proposal to his fiancée. On the same show, he said he was planning to bend the knee with some lights and "romantic stuff," but ended up popping the question a little bit early.

"We were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and I blew my load early," he explained. " I was meant to do it the day after with the lights."

Harrington and Leslie, both 30, have been dating since 2012. They have kept their relationship incredibly private over the years.
