One of the members of the American reality television show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian, has finally opened up about the reasons why she kept her pregnancy a secret. As it turns out, there are a number of reasons why she witheld the information from the public, but the hardest part for Khloe was keeping the pregnancy a secret from her immediate family -- which are the people she spends the most amount of time with. 

Khloe revealed all the reasons on her official website, wherein she stated that keeping her pregnancy quiet was terribly difficult since she really wanted to tell her family about it right away. However, she also stated that she is familiar with some of the difficulties pregnant women face, especially during the first trimester.

Khloe had to figure out how to explain herself whenever her family got suspicious of her actions, like why she would avoid doing or eating certain things. 

Khloe was not the only person who had trouble keeping the secret, since the responsibility also fell on her boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson, who also had to keep quiet about the news. Khloe also emphasized that getting her large family in one room together was difficult, since she and Tristan decided that they were going to make the big reveal to all their immediate loved ones all at once. 

As some fans may already know, the emotional and psychological difficulties of keeping a secret this big are not the only problem that Khloe had to deal with. As it turns out, she also had to come up with innovative ways of hiding her baby bump by putting all types of accessories and clothes together, either to deceive the public's eye with weirdly patterned clothes, or simply by putting on a large coat. On top of that, large purses came in handy in concealing her tummy as well.
