First-time mom Khloe Kardashian has just confirmed the gender of her baby and it is not what Khloe herself and some of the fans have been expecting.

On Sunday's season finale of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the 33-year-old reality star learned that she is expecting a daughter while on the phone with sister Kylie Jenner, who had the honor to break the news from Koko's doctor.

"When you have your mind made up as to what you're having... everyone told me you're going to feel what you're having and you'll just kind of know," Khloé said later. "And then when you find out it's the complete opposite, it's just a shock."

"I just was convinced that I was having a boy, so to be having a girl it's just like, 'Okay that wasn't what I thought was going on,' " she added.

Still, that is not to say that she is unhappy about it. In fact, she celebrated her baby gender reveal on Twitter, expressing her excitement about her daughter being best friends with Kim's youngest and Kylie's first born. Kim gushed over the idea as well.

Khloe and Tristan Thompson's daughter does not have a name yet. When asked if she has an idea what to call their little bundle of joy, she told a fan it will likely start with a "T" or "K." Rumors, however, claim she is also considering the name "Andrea" as a tribute to Thompson's mother. So far, it is also the current favourite with odds of 4/1, according to Evening Standard.

Assuming it is accurate, she would be the third Kardashian grandchild to have a common moniker, following Kourtney Kardashian's kids, Mason and Penelope. The other grandchildren in the family have unique names like North, Saint, Chicago, Reign, Stormi, and Dream.
