Christian singer and associate pastor of the Gateway Church Kari Jobe, who has recently dealt with the loss of an unborn niece over the holiday season, is rallying women to be open with the Lord and ask Him questions in order to find peace.

In an Instagram post, the singer shared a photo of herself speaking before the audience of the Pink Impact event organised by Gateway Church for women from all walks of life that was held to connect them with God and other women.

Jobe was one of the featured speakers at the event and shared insights into how she deals with seasons of pain.

"In the midst of a season where there are a lot of questions ... it's absolutely OK to voice those questions and be honest with the Lord and to worship in the midst of the pain. Worship brings breakthrough and healing. Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. The night season may last a little while ... but God will surround you with songs of deliverance in it," she posted on her Instagram.

Last year, Jobe's sister lost her baby at seven months in utero. During the family's mourning period, she admitted that she too brought a lot of questions to God. However, she said being honest with the Lord brought forth a deeper and more truthful relationship with Him.

"During this hard season, I've learned it's always best to be absolutely honest with the Lord. ... Bringing our questions to the Lord turns our sadness into trust and worship. This newfound faith brings a shift in the atmosphere of our hearts as God brings beauty from pain and peace from tragedy," she said.

Jobe earlier in the year welcomed her own baby, Canyon, to the world.  She said he was a gift from God who has helped their family live in grace despite their recent loss.
