Joyce Meyer shares how people can discover God's battle plan in their lives

God has a battle plan for each person, and He wants people to use it every time they face something that seems too difficult to handle.

Bestselling Christian author and speaker Joyce Meyer writes in an article for The Christian Post that victory is ensured whenever people use God's battle plan. The key is simply finding out what their battle position is so they "can see what God will do for us when we fight the way He wants us to fight."

When people place their faith in God, says Meyer, then He will handle all of their fears and problems. She recalled several years back on how she struggled with breast cancer.

"It was a fast-growing type of cancer and I had to have surgery right away. I would pray and speak the Word to overcome the fear, but it would come back again," she shares.

"Then one night I heard God speak so clearly to my heart: 'I will take care of you.' That was when my faith rose up and it changed everything."

Meyer says that was all it took—just one word from God. If people doubt they can hear God, she encourages them to keep asking Him to help them. When people keep praying and make a determined decision to trust God, then He is sure to meet them where they are.

"You will instinctively know what to do, when you need to do it. You will be led by the Holy Spirit," she assures. "Our position in spiritual warfare is first of all one of worshiping God, putting Him first. We must humble ourselves before God and admit that we need Him and we can't manage life all by ourselves."

According to her, people do not really need to know everything all the time. All they have to do is trust that God knows everything, can do anything, and is with people all the time. When people seek Him and worship Him, they will surely be assured that victory is met.

"The best thing you can do is resist anxious feelings to figure it all out and instead wait on God. Don't waste your time trying to come up with a back-up plan just in case He doesn't come through for you. That approach will only make your situation worse and hinder your ability to hear from God," she says.
