Jennifer Lawrence might look cool, but she is actually known for being mean to her fans. While talking to Adam Sandler on Variety Studio's "Actors on Actors," the 27-year-old star revealed the reason behind her rude attitude toward her followers.

"That's kind of like my only way of defending myself," she said on the one-hour special show. The actress admitted that when she goes to a public place, she instantly becomes "rude" and turns into her different persona.

To secure her privacy, "The Hunger Games" star discourages fans who want to approach her by wagging her finger and giving them a face. Also, when someone asks for a selfie, she either says "No," or "I am not working today."

Meanwhile, the news recently broke that Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky called it quits after being together for a year. The former couple just recently filmed the movie "Mother!," but two months after the film's release in September, they broke up.

"They were never destined for marriage," a source told People. However, despite going their separate ways, the source shared, "They had fun, shared many beliefs, and enjoyed what they could learn from each other."

An insider revealed that the two's age difference might be the main reason for the split. Lawrence is 27, while Aronofsky is 48. "It was fun while it lasted," the informant added. They were both infatuated with each other, the source added. In an interview with Vogue, Lawrence shared, "For the past year, I've been dealing with him as just a human. I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him."

It is said that Lawrence was attracted to Aronofsky's brilliance, while the filmmaker admired her talent and character. In spite of their age difference, they have respect for each other. 

The "Hunger Games" actress previously dated Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Aronofsky, on the other hand, was previously engaged to Rachel Weisz, and together share 11-year-old son Henry.
