Things remain on the line for the characters of "iZombie" after its heart-stopping second season finale. But lives are expected to change when the series returns for season 3.
A new villain named Vivian (Andrea Savage) emerged strong in the finale of "iZombie" season 2, where she and her group composed of other zombies happily ate Matchbox 20's frontman Rob Thomas toward the end of the episode. But her question for Olivia (Rose McIver) toward the end of the episode could set the plot for the show's third season.
"Hungry?" Vivian asked Liv as her group devoured the singer's brain for dinner. "You ready for the new world order, Olivia Moore? Ready to do your part for your kind? Someday soon, Seattle's going to be the capital of zombie homeland, and a lot of people aren't going to want to see that happen. So are you with us, or against us?"
Will Liv finally embrace her new identity as a zombie, or will she continue fighting her urges to hold onto her remaining flicker of humanity?
Meanwhile, Rahul Kohli admitted that he remains to be in the dark about the fate of his character Ravi Chakrabarti. According to the actor, it is still too early to know what Ravi will do in season 3, but he revealed that things will surely change within him after the previous chain of events.
"It's so early and the writers' room hasn't opened yet, there hasn't even been a discussion. But it's one of those things, I looked at the character, I looked at his journey through season 2 and the finale, and I just felt like Ravi's life has become extremely dangerous, as has everyone's," the actor said in an interview with Comic Book Resources. Kohli also revealed that he wants to see his character take care of himself more when the series returns on The CW later this fall.
