Just a month before the release of "Hyrule Warriors Legends" in Japan, game developer Koei Tecmo unveiled the latest trailer for the game to introduce all its playable characters.
The game studio uploaded the five-minute trailer on its official YouTube page last Thursday, showcasing what players should look out for when the game comes out on the Nintendo 3DS in January.
"Hyrule Warriors Legends" includes original "Hyrule Warriors" characters, including Link, Impa, Volga, Wizzro, Sheik, Lana, Cia, Darunia, Ruto, Midna, Zant, Agitha, Fi, Ghirahim, Kid Link, Tingle, Ganondorf and Princess Zelda.
The game will also come out with five new original characters, including Linkle, Tetra, Toon Link, Skull Kid, and The King of Hyrule.
The video trailer also centers on the introduction of the new "My Fairy" system, where players can create their own fairies. They can get their customized fairy by breaking the pots in the game's Adventure Mode.
In the new "My Fairy" system, the players will meet a fairy that they can win as a friend. They can bring the fairy to the dining room to feed or to the salon to change its wardrobe. The players can also go to school and socialize at parties where they can trade their skills in preparation for any upcoming battles.
All fairies will be given their own "Fairy Magic," which can be triggered in any battle.
The trailer also demonstrates the new Adventure mode and Story mode of the game. The mode adds a new map called the Great Sea, where the players can earn brand new rewards and costumes.
The "Hyrule Warriors Legends" will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on Jan. 21, while North American and European players can get the game on March 25.
