House of Cards season 6 will be streaming soon on Netflix and the network released another teaser clip hinting at what the show will look like sans Kevin Spacey, who played Frank.

Spacey was dropped last year over sexual misconduct allegations and the showrunners immediately set to work to rethink the plot focusing on his character's wife Claire, played by Robin Wright.

The teasers up to now have showed Claire looking thrilled with having the power in the White House all to herself with no husband in the way anymore.

In the latest teaser to coincide with July 4, Claire looks in control as she says 'Happy Independence Day ... to me.'

Those words are in line with the tone she set at the end of Season 5 after clinching POTUS when she said 'It's my turn.'

So far, Netflix hasn't offered any spoilers or details on how the plot for Season 6 will deal with Frank's exit. All we know for now is that he's gone completely.

But Netflix has been sure to promise plenty of exciting drama in the final season of the show even without one of its main stars for the last five seasons. The teaser trailer that aired during the Oscars in March showed Claire in the Oval Office boasting: 'We're just getting started.'

House of Cards season 6 will be available for streaming on Netflix in the fall but an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.

The cast includes existing stars like Michael Kelly and Patricia Clarkson as well as some new faces, including Diane Lane, Greg Kinnear and Cody Fern.  Superman fans will recognize Lane as the mother of Clark Kent in the DC Superman/Justice League cinematic universe.

It was confirmed already that she will play the sister of Greg Kinnear's character but Netflix hasn't given any more details beyond that concerning their roles in the final season.
