Agent 47 is back again for the second time, as the developers of "Hitman" have re-released the game. This time, the title will have a "Game of the Year Edition," which is now on sale on Steam.
The developer and publisher, Io Interactive, has also released a new video detailing what the new bundle entails. One of the most apparent changes present in the new edition for "Hitman" is the improved visuals and graphics of the game. This changes the general lighting and color of the game to have a more updated look for 2017.
Apart from that, the Game of the Year edition will also have a native resolution of 3,840x2,160 or 4K, making it ready not only for the PC but also for the Xbox One X, which is 4K capable. The game also now has the capability to run a smooth 60 frames per second (FPS) framerate on the consoles, making the new version a must-have for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One owners.
The video also shows how the team of developers has worked hard in changing the locations in the game in order to look even more high-definition. This is because the 4K resolution capability of the graphics engine now warrants equally high-resolution textures in order to not look pixelated. The developer Jacob Mikkelsen, who was joined by his associate editor Eskil Mohl, also promised new gameplay experiences which have never been seen in the previous version of the title.
This time around, there will be three new outfits and three new weapons for Agent 47 to utilize, making him even more lethal. Now, he will be able to dispatch his high-profile targets using nearly anything from silenced guns, melee weapons, or even expired spaghetti sauces. There will also be three new Themed Escalation Contracts with new targets and a bonus campaign mission called "Patient Zero" adding up to the already packed content of the base game.
"Hitman: Game of the Year Edition" is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and Microsoft Windows.
